Moccona Coffee Sachets Flat White Review
Hello Lovelies, 😊
I hope you are all safe and doing well.
I am going to start a short series of reviewing an array of coffee products.
I will, of course, will be doing a short series of reviewing tea products. I haven’t forgotten about my tea lovers out there 😊
I am a big sucker for sachets, especially when it comes to Moccona products. My favourite Moccona products include: the Flat White, Barista Reserve, Mocha Kenya and Iced Latte Coffee.

I love how quick, easy and convenient it is to grab a sachet and pack one in your bag. You can simply take that sachet with you to the office, or have one in your bag for an afternoon pick me up.
Recently, I was doing some grocery shopping and I happened to end up in the coffee and tea aisle. Do not and I say this firmly, do not take me into the coffee and tea aisle as well as the fridge section (plenty of cold beverages on offer). :P
The Moccona Coffee Sachets section was all on special and of course, the Flat White happened to end up in my shopping basket.
I hadn’t tried the Moccona Flat White Sachets before and honestly, I do not regret making this purchase!
A deliciously concentrated flavour of smooth, velvety and strong flat white taste. The flat white consists of a single measure of strong espresso topped with a milk foam flattened out.
The first sachet I decided to pour all the contents and added the water and stirred. Don’t get me wrong I loved the simple four components of any sachet: tear sachet, pour contents, hot water and stir. Simple. Easy. Oh, how can I forget? Drinking the beverage is the very best part.
With each sachet experience, I found myself experimenting with different milks. I tried with full-cream and non-diary milk to give me that extra authentic café style experience. I found myself gravitating towards full-cream milk and almond milk. I have never been a fan of lite milk and/or low-fat milk. I find it quite tasteless mixed with my coffee. I usually stick to full-cream, almond or oat milk.
Each time I used full-cream milk, or almond milk I achieved the layer of foamed milk sitting on top. I never got the very thin ‘flat’ layer on top also known as ‘microfoam’. I achieved the velvety and flossy finish and allowed the tiny air bubbles to form in the milk. This is achieved by the steaming process because it’s all in the milk.
In my experience, the contents of the sachet dissolved well and never had an issue with the contents not dissolving probably. Because I’ve heard stories from family and friends that contents from sachet have not dissolved properly with them. Thankfully, I have never had this issue with Moccona and Nescafe products. If you do experience this issue, then I suggest pouring the contents into your favourite mug. Pour a small amount of hot water into the mug. I would then stir the contents with the hot water until all contents are dissolved. Then, pour the remainder of the hot water. Make sure to do this with caution, as the water is hot. Let me know if this helps, or if you have a different method to mine.
My only criticism about the sachets is that the package is not recyclable. I truly wish companies would get onboard with biodegradable sachets or recyclable sachets. Instead of having opt for the option of depositing them into the trash.
I give the Moccona Coffee Sachets Flat White: 4/5.
I would most definitely purchase this product again.
What is your favourite Moccona product? Do you know of any products that offer biodegradable or recyclable coffee sachets? If so, please feel free to share your thoughts and opinions 😊
